An evaluation of the Clicklaw wikibook “JP Boyd on Family Law”: final report
This report evaluated a wikibook produced for Courthouse Libraries BC. The author collected and analyzed data from Google Analytics and from two surveys of people who had used the wikibook. The evaluation showed that both legal professionals and members of the public had accessed and used the wikibook, and that it was seen as a reliable source of legal information.
Users also found the wikibook format to be easy to navigate and understand, in some cases more so than other types of resources the users had accessed previously. They noted overall that their understanding of family law had improved when surveyed six months after first accessing the wikibook.
