Free, online, and in your public library: delivering legal information to the community

This report discusses the establishment and key elements of a library and justice partnership in one Australian state. The partnership, between a state library and the Law and Justice Foundation of New South Wales, helps set up branch libraries to act as legal information hubs. A toolkit for library staff and a “find legal answers” website were developed by the project to help library staff feel more comfortable pointing patrons to legal information and referrals.
