Law for Alberta’s Multicultural Communities: Research Report
This study of multicultural groups in Alberta aimed to clarify the need for accessible legal information in that province in order to further human rights objectives. The project looked at the legal information needs related to specific areas of civil law as identified in the Alberta Human Rights Act. The report investigated immigrants’ information-seeking behaviours, including when and how information is accessed, and provided recommendations on appropriate formats and sources.
