Public Legal Education and Information Resources: Accessibility Initiative

This article stresses the importance of accessibility in the overall comprehension and delivery of PLEI resources. PLEI provider actions that enhance accessibility are outlined including improving PLEI resources to address varying levels of literacy, improving the user experience on the LSS website, developing culture specific delivery mediums, e.g. Aboriginal, and performing continual evaluations of online content to ensure its organization, layout and efficiency. Various methods of PLEI delivery are then compared and evaluated for efficiency and accessibility focusing on digital media moving forward.
