Get involved

The PLE Learning Exchange supports organizations across Ontario in developing and delivering effective public legal education (PLE) for their communities. Our goals are to:

  • build a body of expertise and knowledge around the practice of community-based PLE
  • improve the effectiveness of PLE projects and materials through shared learning and tools
  • increase the number of PLE initiatives in Ontario developed through collaborative partnerships

Suggest content to be posted

Know of some interesting research on PLE? Have a project you want to profile? Suggestions for promising practices in PLE evaluation, reaching diverse communities, experimenting with technology? Contact us with your ideas or feedback.

Participate in our meetings and events

The PLE Learning Exchange sometimes holds in-person events for legal and community organizations that develop and deliver public legal education in Ontario. The events provide an opportunity for networking and the sharing of expertise and experiences. For information about upcoming events, subscribe to our email list.

Write for us

The PLE Learning Exchange blog, PLExchange, welcomes posts from guest bloggers. We are interested in a wide range of topics on public legal education — posts can be theoretical or written from an “on-the-ground” perspective.
